Adding a DMARC record with cPanel
- Log in to cPanel.
- Go to Domains and click on Zone Editor.
- Click Manage for your domain.
- Select Add Record, choosing TXT record as the type.
- Here you will add the TXT record:
- Name:
_dmarc [it may automatically append to _dmarc.domain.com.] - TTL:
60 (so that you do not need to wait too long before verifying) - Type:
TXT - Record:
v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:rua-import-xxxx@sendforensics.com
[Notes: replace rua-import-xxxx@sendforensics.com with your own unique SendForensics RUA processing address which can be found in Domain Settings for your domain.]
- Name:
- Select Save Record to save your new TXT record.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds, then you can verify that you have the correct record entered in Domain Settings for your domain.
