Adding a DMARC record with GoDaddy
- Sign in to your GoDaddy account.
- Select your domain then go to Domain > Manage DNS.
- Select Manage DNS to access your zone file.
- Select Add to add a new record.
- Select TXT from the Type menu options.
- Enter the details for your TXT record:
- Name:
_dmarc - Value:
"v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:rua-import-xxxx@sendforensics.com"
[Notes: includes the speech marks, also replace rua-import-xxxx@sendforensics.com with your own unique SendForensics RUA processing address which can be found at Domains > Setup > DMARC Data.] - TTL:
Select Custom, then enter 60 seconds (so that you do not need to wait too long before verifying)
- Name:
- Select Add Record to save your new TXT record.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds, then you can verify that you have the correct record entered at Domains > Setup > DMARC Data.
